Osun election warning for APC ahead of 2027 — Ex-chieftain Ojo

Dr. Jackson Lekan Ojo, a former leader within the All Progressives Congress (APC), has warned that the recent re-election of Osun State's Governor Ademola Adeleke signals a dire outcome for the APC in the 2027 general elections. Praising the poll as a victory for freedom, Ojo emphasized that it serves as a message for all Nigerians, not just the Osun people.

The former APC chieftain expressed gratitude to Nigerians for their victory over the APC, stressing that the result indicates that federal power is not invincible when God's might is aligned with the people. Drawing a biblical comparison, Ojo likened the outcome to the story of Pharaoh, asserting that even the most powerful can be defeated when God's might is with the people.

Ojo attributed the APC's defeat to the heavy presence of APC leaders and supporters in Osun during the election, including the Senate President and numerous APC governors and lawmakers. Despite this, he attributed the Osun people's victory to their unwavering support for a governor who consistently praises God.

The ex-chieftain warned that if Nigerians continue to unite, the APC will face a humiliating defeat in the 2027 general election. He declared that when Nigerians come together as a cohesive force, federal power will become meaningless, and the APC will be disgraced and humiliated.
