Official: Lucumi joins Juventus from Bologna as price tag revealed

Colombia international Jhon Lucumi has officially signed with Juventus from Bologna for a fee of €19.5 million plus add-ons, as confirmed by the Bianconeri. The 28-year-old defender has inked a contract until June 2030. Lucumi underwent medical examinations in Turin on Sunday, and Juventus announced his signing this morning. The player joins Juventus after his previous stint with Bologna, where he joined from Belgian side Genk in 2022 for €8 million.

Over two seasons at Bologna, Lucumi made 123 Serie A appearances, scoring one goal. He also played eight Champions League matches, netting one goal, and helped Bologna win the Coppa Italia in the 2024-25 season under manager Vincenzo Italiano. Lucumi represented Colombia at the 2026 World Cup, where they were eliminated in the Round of 16 on penalties to Switzerland.

The Bianconeri have bolstered their squad, signing four players during the summer transfer window, including Jeff Ekhator, Randal Kolo Muani, and Kerim Alajbegović. The club is also reportedly close to finalizing an agreement with Tottenham for Italian defender Guglielmo Vicario.
