Nitin Nabin’s team does a fine balancing act

The newly appointed team of office-bearers under BJP President Nitin Nabin skillfully balances retaining experienced leaders while introducing new faces to lead the party's future. Despite holding differing opinions, most high command members have found a place within the list. Established leaders such as Vinod Tawde and Sunil Bansal, who have earned their positions over time, remain in their roles.

Smriti Irani, a proven campaigner, has returned as General Secretary. Former Tripura Chief Minister Biplab Kumar Deb has also been included in the General Secretary position. Retaining seasoned politicians like Vasundhara Raje as Vice President, as well as others like Sunil Bansal, Satish Poonia, Baijayant Jay Panda, and Ram Madhav, demonstrates the party's commitment to experienced leadership.

New entrants like Deepak Mhaskey as a replacement for the departed Amit Malviya, and Hemang Joshi as the head of the Yuva Morcha, aim to provide a fresh perspective, despite Joshi being a 35-year-old millennial. The team's strategy emphasizes learning, grooming, and the eventual leadership transition for new members in the coming years.
