Nashik: Shiv Sena (UBT) Stages ‘Jan-Aakrosh’ March Over Potholes, Sanjay Raut Demands Municipal Commissioner’s Transfer

Nashik: The Shiv Sena (UBT) faction has taken a strong stance over the city's severe pothole problem, organizing a Jan-Aakrosh march to the Municipal Corporation headquarters. MP Sanjay Raut spearheaded the demonstration, criticizing both the Municipal Corporation and the state government. Raut highlighted the dangers posed by the potholes, which have turned the city into a laughingstock nationwide.

He demanded that the corrupt officials be held accountable for the loss of life due to these dangerous roads. The Shiv Sena leader also called for the immediate transfer of the Municipal Commissioner, emphasizing that the administration's negligence for citizens' safety is unacceptable. In a veiled threat, Shiv Sena leaders threatened to target the residences of BJP corporators and MLAs.

Similarly, Yuva Sena President Aaditya Thackeray extended his support, urging the administration to address the pothole issue promptly. The march drew the attention of many citizens, with Shiv Sena office-bearers and party workers joining the cause. Waje clarified that the demand for justice is not opposed to development, but rather for it to be done properly, without causing inconvenience to the citizens.
