Ministry of Islamic Affairs awarded ISO certification for quality management

Saudi Arabia's Ministry of Islamic Affairs has achieved ISO 9001:2015 certification for its quality management systems. The Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Dawah and Guidance, through its Agency for Planning and Digital Transformation, received the international accreditation for adhering to global quality management standards. The certification encompasses strategic planning, quality management, performance measurement, continuous improvement, documentation management, and beneficiary experience evaluation according to IAF:35 requirements.

Khaled bin Mohammed Al-Thunayan, Deputy Minister for Planning and Digital Transformation, noted that the ISO certification acknowledges the ministry's dedication to employing best practices and international standards in quality management, thereby improving operational efficiency. He further explained that the implementation of the quality management system has bolstered institutional work methodologies, standardized procedures, enhanced process efficiency, supported performance measurement and continuous improvement, managed documented information, and assessed beneficiary experiences, all of which lead to improved service quality and higher beneficiary satisfaction.
