Marvel Studios' Ghost Rider Sets July 2028 Release Date

Marvel Studios has announced that the Ghost Rider film will be released on July 28, 2028. At San Diego Comic-Con, the studio unveiled two new films: Ghost Rider and Black Panther 3. Black Panther 3 is set to release on December 15, 2028, while Ghost Rider has been given a year-wide window in 2028, with the confirmed release date of July 28.

This release will follow the MCU's first X-Men film, which is scheduled to premiere on May 5, 2028. The three 2028 films are expected to help reset the MCU after Avengers: Secret Wars. Ryan Gosling will portray Ghost Rider, having personally campaigned for the role over the past few years. The studio's boss, Kevin Feige, revealed that Gosling personally pitched the film and enlisted Shawn Levy to direct after a successful collaboration on Star Wars: Starfighter.
