JENNIE Offers Heartfelt Apology After Fans Felt ‘Disappointed’ by BLACKPINK’s 10th Anniversary

JENNIE, member of the globally renowned K-pop group BLACKPINK, has penned a heartfelt apology to her dedicated fans, known as BLINKs, following frustration over the lack of commemorations for the group's 10th anniversary. The star expressed regret on Weverse, stating she "didn't get the chance to properly talk to BLINKs and share how I was feeling."

JENNIE highlighted that the decade with fans was filled with "special moments" and went on to thank them for their unwavering support. In place of grand celebrations, YG Entertainment, BLACKPINK's management company, offered 40 BLINKs with Weverse memberships a private meet-and-greet with the group. The same day as her apology, BLACKPINK shared a video montage of the intimate gathering, showing the group interacting with the selected fans.

JISOO, another member, also addressed the disappointment in a Weverse livestream, acknowledging the challenge of communication and expressing love for the BLINKs. Since their debut in 2016, BLACKPINK has achieved significant success, including 11 Billboard Hot 100 entries and five Billboard 200 albums.
