iPhone 18 Pro: Six new features are coming next month

Apple's upcoming iPhone lineup for next month will introduce a new foldable device called the 'iPhone Ultra,' but the focus will be on the established iPhone 18 Pro and Pro Max models. These models will maintain their size and design from last year, with three main design changes: a smaller Dynamic Island due to components moving under the display, a unified look for the two-tone rear design, and a Dark Cherry/Burgundy color option replacing Cosmic Orange.

The A20 Pro chip, Apple's first built with a 2nm process and WMCM packaging, will significantly improve performance, efficiency, and AI tasks. The camera system is set to include a variable aperture main camera for depth-of-field control, a wider aperture Telephoto camera, and enhanced Camera app features. Battery life will improve by approximately 10% with the larger battery in iPhone 18 Pro Max.

Additionally, the new C2 modem, built by Apple, will replace Qualcomm's 5G modem, offering efficiency and battery improvements. Camera Control will be simplified with fewer features and touch-sensitive components removed for a more user-friendly experience. Overall, iPhone 18 Pro and Pro Max are expected to deliver better performance, longer-lasting batteries, a revised design, and camera upgrades.
