IKEA’s super-cheap bathroom gadget combines a clock, thermometer and humidity reader in one — so you can quickly check how late you are for work

IKEA has unveiled a low-cost, three-in-one bathroom gadget that combines a clock, temperature sensor, and humidity reader into a single device. The ÖRNVRÅK display, priced at £5, is currently only available in the UK and boasts a compact design measuring just 8x3cm. Weighing over 100g, the lightweight device is powered by a single AAA battery, eliminating the need for constant charging.

With its IP44 resistance rating, the ÖRNVRÅK can withstand small water splashes and is suitable for placement in various areas of the home, including the kitchen, utility room, or bathroom. The magnetic back of the device enables it to adhere to surfaces such as the fridge door, while its built-in hook attachment allows it to be hung on the wall or used as a stand on flat surfaces.

Despite lacking smart home connectivity, the ÖRNVRÅK display offers the advantage of displaying the time, temperature, and humidity simultaneously, making it a simple and convenient option for those who prefer basic functionality over advanced smart features.
