Far-right FVD-linked school opens in Almere with state funding

A far-right affiliated school, "Renaissance School," has begun its first class in Almere with state funding. The curriculum emphasizes the superiority of "old Europe" and rejects the "dogma of equality." The primary institution teaches Latin, English, and Dutch, and acknowledges scientific theories such as climate change as "falsifiable."

Pupils may receive gender-specific instruction due to biological differences. The school, run by Stichting Tocqueville, aims to counter what its founders call "left-wing indoctrination" in Dutch schools. Founded by the Forum for Democracy, a far-right political party, the institution is seen as an FVD response to perceived ideological bias.

State authorities are preparing to inspect the school to ensure compliance with educational standards and regulations.
