Ex‑JKR officer tells High Court Muhyiddin made no calls to help Nepturis in RM141m Jana Wibawa project

Former Selangor JKR director Lokman Nasir testified at the Kuala Lumpur High Court that he did not receive any calls from former Prime Minister Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin to assist the contractor Nepturis Sdn Bhd in a RM141 million government project. Lokman, who oversaw the construction of the Klang Utara district police headquarters (IPD), stated that there was no interference from the Prime Minister's Office and that he did not meet with Muhyiddin.

The court heard that Nepturis had only begun receiving interim payments from the government in May 2022, with eight payment vouchers totaling over RM16 million paid to the company between May 17, 2022, and February 3, 2023.
