DFI Retail Group appoints Alia Gogi as independent director

Mitie Group plc announced the appointment of Andrew Davies as a non-executive director on Monday, according to a press release. Davies assumes the role immediately, joining the company's board, audit & risk committee, nomination committee, and remuneration committee. Prior to this appointment, Davies served as the chief executive of Kier Group plc from April 2019 to October 2025.

He also held roles as a non-executive director and senior independent director at Chemring Group plc from May 2016 to January 2025. Davies previously led Wates Group from January 2014 to January 2018 and held senior management positions at BAE Systems plc. Currently, he serves as the chair of Southern Water. Mitie Group is a UK-based facilities management, transformation, and compliance company with a workforce of 84,000 employees. Founded in 1987, the company has announced this development through an official statement.
