Bayern Munich boss issues statement on Jamal Musiala after mid-game collapse

Bayern Munich's Jamal Musiala experienced a concerning collapse during a Telekom Cup match against RB Leipzig, according to executive Max Eberl. The incident occurred in the closing stages of the 3-1 victory, with Ismael Saibari being the first to assist Musiala, who had walked off the field after receiving treatment. The sweltering heat in Bavaria, around 33 degrees, is believed to have contributed to the midfielder's dizziness and circulation issues.

Musiala, who has dealt with a leg injury during last summer's Club World Cup, is now working to regain his previous form and physical condition. He had returned to the squad on Monday but suffered the collapse just 15 minutes into his return. Bayern will continue their preseason preparations with a match against Heidenheim, followed by a Super Cup game against Borussia Dortmund on August 22.
