Army recruitment rally in Vizag from Sept. 3-20

A recruitment rally for the Army will take place at the Indira Priyadarshini Stadium in Visakhapatnam from September 3 to 20, according to a source. Ten thousand and three hundred and fifty-five candidates who have passed the written examination are expected to attend. On Monday, Visakhapatnam District Collector M. Abhishikth Kishore met with officials at the Collectorate to direct them to make all necessary arrangements for the rally.

These arrangements include transport, power supply, closed-circuit television cameras, public address systems, and information technology facilities for the candidates.

Additionally, it has been announced that a 1.6-kilometer night run will be held, starting near the Kali Mata temple on the RK Beach Road and ending at the Victory at Sea War Memorial. Approximately eight hundred candidates will participate each day in this event. Officials were directed to arrange for traffic regulation, police security, barricading, lighting, and drinking water facilities along the route.

In addition, medical teams, ambulances, mobile toilets, accommodation, generators, waterproof tents, and other facilities were directed to be provided.

Furthermore, arrangements for physical fitness tests at the stadium were also made by the officials.
