Apple Seeds watchOS 27 Beta 6 to Developers

Apple has released the sixth beta of watchOS 27 to developers, following the fifth beta's launch a week earlier. Developers can download the update via the Watch app on an iPhone, provided they have a free developer account. For the installation, the Apple Watch must be plugged in, connected to Wi-Fi, and have a battery level of at least 50 percent.

The beta is available for all Apple Watch models compatible with watchOS 27, excluding the Apple Watch Ultra 3. watchOS 27 introduces several enhancements, including an AI-powered Siri capable of engaging in multi-turn conversations. It also boasts access to general world knowledge and personal data to answer queries and find relevant information. The update brings a dynamic app grid that showcases Siri-suggested apps and more intuitive Smart Stack Suggestions. Additional features include the ability to locate a parked car, view pinned messages, receive noise alerts, and access identity and transit cards. Apple has also refined the Liquid Glass display to enhance legibility, and the Workout Buddy app has been updated to provide new metrics like progressive increases in distance, pace, or duration.
