Adeleke campaign DG condemns Osun attacks, urges police to prosecute perpetrators

The Imole Campaign Council's DG, Senator Lere Oyewumi, denounced attacks on the homes of several leaders of the Accord Party ahead of the Osun State governorship election. Oyewumi described the incidents as unwarranted, cowardly, and unacceptable. He conducted an on-the-spot assessment of the affected residences in Ikire and Ikoyi, including Ambali Kondo, Owodunni Abiodun (Wocco), Taofeeq Ajagun (Ultimate), Akinola Paul (Halleluyah), Festus Adeyemo (Energy Commissioner), Alhaji Lateef, and Nureni Owoade.

Oyewumi strongly condemned the attacks, emphasizing that political differences should not lead to violence, destruction, intimidation, or property damage. He commended the affected leaders for their courage and resilience, urging security agencies to prosecute those responsible and stressing that violence has no place in a democratic society.
