27-year-old spiritualist arrested over alleged attempt to use 11-year-old girl for ritual

A 27-year-old spiritualist, identified as Okomfo C Prof, has been arrested in Lamtey, Ga South Municipality, near Kasoa, allegedly for attempting to use an 11-year-old schoolgirl for ritual purposes. According to residents, Okomfo C Prof was seen entering an uncompleted building with the girl, raising suspicion among the community.

The girl's cries prompted residents to intervene, leading them to rescue her and apprehend the suspect. Upon searching Okomfo C Prof's belongings, authorities reportedly found a bag containing items believed to be human bones. The suspect had been living in the uncompleted building prior to the incident. Angry residents assaulted Okomfo C Prof before he was handed over to the Police.

The rescued girl is currently safe, while Okomfo C Prof remains in custody. Some residents have spoken to the media about the incident and detailed what they allegedly witnessed. The Police have launched an investigation into the circumstances surrounding the incident and the items reportedly found in the suspect's possession.
