He also appreciated Bhopal's shorter travel times, as the entire city is within a 17-minute reach.

Cabs were readily available, eliminating the need to own a car and avoid expenses like insurance, parking, and fuel. The cleaner air and greener environment in Bhopal were another draw, with its parks featuring large trees and a lower air quality index. Biswal found Bhopali food more affordable and flavorful, without the adulteration often found in Mumbai.

He also enjoyed the lower cost of domestic help and fitness facilities, with an annual gym membership costing Rs 27,000 in Bhopal compared to over Rs 40,000 in Mumbai. Work-life balance was improved, as offices in Bhopal typically ended by 5.30 pm, allowing employees to return home earlier. Language was less of a barrier in Bhopal, given the prevalence of Hindi.

Bhopal's central location made it convenient to travel to major cities like Delhi and Mumbai by train.
