‘Zero result’: Akanksha Choudhary says she spent Rs 60,000 on facial fat reduction

Akanksha Choudhary, a participant on Lock Upp, revealed her past contemplation of buccal fat removal for her Miss Universe preparation. She denied having had any cosmetic work done on her nose. The actress explained that she saved Rs 60,000 by cutting down her expenses before deciding against the surgery due to concerns over permanent facial alteration.

She admitted to receiving a series of injections that were intended to reduce facial fat, but reported that the treatment yielded "zero result." Dr Manajeet Patil, a Senior Consultant at Aster RV Hospital, elaborated that buccal fat removal involves the surgical removal of a pocket of fat located within the lower cheek to achieve a slimmer appearance.

He emphasized that successful candidates must be healthy adults with persistently full cheeks despite maintaining a healthy weight, and that expectations about post-procedure results must be realistic.
