Baltimore - The Philadelphia Eagles suffered a 24-7 defeat to the Baltimore Ravens in their preseason opener at M&T Bank Stadium on Saturday night. While the team as a whole underperformed, several young players emerged as standouts in the game. Defensive tackle Ty Robinson, the Eagles' 2025 fourth-round pick, had an impressive outing, recording a sack and contributing to the team's defensive efforts.

The secondary also displayed flashes of potential, with backup cornerbacks Kelee Ringo, Mac McWilliams, and Shaun Wade making critical plays, including an interception by Ringo and a forced fumble by Wade. Undrafted free agents Deontae Lawson, Joshua Weru, Kapena Gushiken, and Maximus Pulley also contributed significantly to the Eagles' effort, with Lawson showcasing his speed and tackling ability and Weru proving to be an explosive edge rusher.

Despite these individual successes, the Eagles' starting quarterbacks Andy Dalton and Tanner McKee failed to leave a lasting impression, indicating a tight competition for the backup quarterback position.
