Moroccan security forces have intercepted hundreds of migrants, mostly from sub-Saharan Africa, attempting to reach the Ceuta border and have detained nearly 300 individuals for irregular crossing attempts, according to security sources speaking to the Moroccan digital newspaper Hespress.

The police charged against the migrants, corralled them near the dividing line, and forcefully expelled them in buses, all within three kilometers of the border. The surge in operations features a larger number of security forces stationed at every nearby point compared to previous days, marking a security perimeter.
