Ukrainian FP-1 Drones Hit Wildberries’ Largest Logistics Center

On the night of August 15-16, Ukrainian FP-1 long-range drones targeted Wildberries' largest logistics hub in the Moscow Region. Eyewitness footage showed a fire at the Wildberries logistics center in Koledino, near Podolsk. Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin claimed that the drones, heading towards the Russian capital, were intercepted.

Wildberries' logistics hub is a substantial facility, spanning around 250,000 square meters, used for storing, sorting, and distributing dual-use goods. The Ukrainian military company Fire Point confirmed the attack. The FP-1 drone, designed to hit ground targets, boasts a range of up to 2,600 km, a payload capacity of 60 kg, and a flight time of up to seven hours.

This assault is part of a pattern of Ukrainian strikes against Russian military and logistics targets. On August 16, the Ukrainian Navy also attacked a Russian Bastion coastal missile system in occupied Crimea. Strikes have caused significant damage to Wildberries' infrastructure, estimated at up to $2.66 billion, with total losses potentially reaching nearly $12 billion.

Around 20 facilities have reportedly been hit since July 18, with up to one-fifth of the company's warehouse capacity damaged or destroyed. This disruption is affecting thousands of businesses dependent on Wildberries' marketplace. One Moscow-based operator reported a 50% decrease in sales, from around 400 parcels to approximately 150 delivered daily.

The impact extends beyond Wildberries, with 300 companies reportedly restructuring loans and Sberbank warning of increased credit loss provisions.
