UK-made drones strike targets inside Russia

UK-made drones have carried out their first strikes inside Russia, according to a new report. The drones, manufactured by two separate British companies, have been targeted military and industrial facilities across mainland Russia, causing over £35bn in economic damage. A well-placed military source has confirmed the use of these British drones in deep strikes within Russia.

The military operations, first reported by the Sunday Times, have proven to be far more effective than previous British supplied Storm Shadow missiles. These drone strikes have targeted a range of industrial facilities, including warehouses belonging to Russian online retailer Wildberries, which has been a frequent target since July.

Russian authorities have previously acknowledged the use of UK-built drones in attacks on Russian territory, including a fuel depot in the Rostov Region. In April, the British Ministry of Defence announced an unprecedented package of support for Ukraine, including tens of thousands of drones and other advanced weaponry. The British government has pledged its unwavering support for Ukraine until it achieves victory, stating it is committed to equipping Ukraine with the necessary tools to defend itself against Russia's illegal invasion.
