Of course, it's not easy to expect China and Russia, the two "hostile countries", to respond immediately. While striving to create an environment conducive to peaceful coexistence between the North and the South, it's also necessary to secure the active support of the United States and China, the other parties. President Jae Myung proposed three concepts for achieving "inclusive, stable, and responsible peace coexistence" - "inclusive peace coexistence," "stable peace coexistence," and "global peace contribution."

He emphasized that the peace on the Korean Peninsula can contribute to global peace. Rather than just shouting "peace coexistence," he proposed a concrete framework and objectives for the "termination of the war and establishment of a peace regime" through a "multilateral dialogue" and expressed his intention to embark on this journey.

He also hoped that this would provide an effective solution to halt North Korea's nuclear capabilities. The announcement of President Jae Myung comes as the Trump administration's prospects for a North-South summit have become increasingly unlikely due to their limited prospects. In this situation, it's necessary to lead the North through a discussion, aiming for a peace regime that can interest them.

Meanwhile, North Korea and China have already agreed in April 2018 to actively pursue the holding of "three-party or four-party talks involving the North, South, and the United States/China" for the establishment of a peace regime. However, the likelihood of North Korea accepting this proposal appears very low. However, if both the United States and China show interest, the situation could change.

Recently, President Donald Trump posted a photo of himself with North Korean Vice Minister of Foreign Affairs Kim Jong-un on his social media, indicating that he has not ruled out the idea of North-South talks.
