Ronaldo says 'probably' in last year of his career

Madrid: Cristiano Ronaldo has hinted that this year could be his final season in professional football, according to an interview with Vogue magazine. The 41-year-old Portuguese football icon, widely regarded as one of the greatest players of all time, has scored over 950 goals for club and country. Ronaldo had previously hinted at retirement, stating that he might leave the sport within one or two years.

Speaking to Vogue, he expressed his desire to leave a lasting legacy, saying, "This is probably my last year of football, and I want to leave a spectacular legacy." He also mentioned that he has numerous activities to keep him busy, including travel and padel, to fill the void that football might leave. Ronaldo recently married his longtime partner Georgina Rodriguez in a private ceremony in Cascais, Portugal.

He told Vogue that he intends to continue enjoying the fruits of his labor, acknowledging the 25 years of hard work he has put into his career. Following Portugal's impressive run in the recent World Cup, Ronaldo is set to join Al Nassr for the upcoming season in the Saudi Pro League.
