Real Madrid has seen three of its players nominated for the 2026 Golden Boy award, a prestigious accolade given to the best young talent in European football. The trio includes Diomande, Endrick, and Thiago Pitarch. Diomande, the latest signing from RB Leipzig, is expected to be a key attacking force under Jose Mourinho. Endrick, returning from a successful loan at Lyon, has eight goals and seven assists to his name, though his future remains uncertain.

Pitarch, the young Spanish midfielder, completed the nomination after Mourinho secured his services despite interest from other clubs. To be eligible, a player must be born after January 1, 2006, and be registered with one of the top 25 European leagues. The competition is fierce, with 100 names making the initial list, which is later narrowed down to 20.

Notable names on the list include Barcelona's Pau Cubarsi and Borussia Dortmund's Kostas Karetsas. The Golden Boy award, handed out by Italian newspaper Tuttosport, will be decided by a panel of 50 journalists from leading European media outlets.
