Doha, Qatar witnessed the culmination of QatarDebate Center's Summer Debate Camp (Arabic), as it concluded its four-day training program for children aged between 10 and 13 years. The camp, held within the center's headquarters in Education City, aimed to introduce participants to the essential aspects of debating, including thought-structuring skills, argument building, and clear expression of ideas.
The final day's highlights included an educational film screening, followed by a discussion on the issues presented in the film. Additionally, a mini closing tournament comprising three rounds took place, enabling the youngsters to test their newfound skills in a competitive setting.
Graduate of the QatarDebate Center's Elite Academy programme, coach Farah Al Harbi led the camp, supported by six members of the Al Adaam debate team and university debaters.
