Palestinian foreign minister: Our people will not leave their land, diplomatic efforts intensify to expose occupation crimes

Palestinian Foreign Minister Farsin Shahin has emphasized that diplomatic efforts are actively being undertaken to expose Israeli occupation crimes and advocate for the rights of citizens facing violations. Shahin stated that the ministry is working tirelessly at various international levels to bring attention to the terror inflicted by Israeli settlers upon the Palestinian people and their land, while also pressing for an end to these injustices.

According to Palestinian news agency WAFA, Shahin explained that the ministry has provided briefings and arranged field visits for foreign diplomats to firsthand witness the violations committed by the occupation and its settlers. The goal of these initiatives is to rally international support and pressure Israel to adhere to international law, thereby halting the violence perpetrated by settlers.

Shahin also highlighted ongoing ministerial efforts to bolster the resilience of citizens in areas that are targeted by attacks and blockades. He confirmed that a delegation of ministers has already visited the town of Qusra, along with another tour in the Salfit Governorate, as directed by President Mahmoud Abbas. These visits serve the dual purpose of providing support and assistance to the affected areas, as well as swiftly addressing the needs arising from occupation attacks, such as damage to essential infrastructure like electricity, water, and road networks.

Shahin firmly reiterated that the Palestinian people will not abandon their land, underscoring the strategic importance of the resilience demonstrated by citizens in Qusra and neighboring towns such as Abu Falah, Al-Mughayyir, Qaryut, and Jalud. These towns are crucial in countering occupation plans to alter the geographic and demographic landscape of the region.
