Pakistan’s new recruits don’t cross the border. They’re Indian teens

Ashraf Daniyal, a 23-year-old handloom worker from Barabanki, Uttar Pradesh, was recruited by Pakistan's Inter-Services Intelligence (ISI) through social media, according to law enforcement agencies. Sajid Mehboob Shaikh, a 21-year-old garbage collector from Kurla, Mumbai, and Krishna Mishra, a 20-year-old from Gorakhpur, were also reportedly lured into carrying out activities on behalf of Pakistan-based gangsters.

Amarjit Singh, Karanjit Singh (both 19), and Satnam Singh (22) were friends from Gurdaspur, Punjab, who were held for a successful grenade attack on a police station. These young individuals are believed to be part of a network orchestrated by Pakistani gangster Shehzad Bhatti and his associates.
