Osun poll: Adeleke’s camp replies Keyamo, says no political deal with Tinubu

The campaign council of Osun State Governor, Ademola Adeleke, has firmly denied any political arrangement behind the governor's endorsement of President Bola Tinubu's re-election bid for 2027. Adeleke's support for Tinubu stems from the President's performance and reforms, rather than a pre-planned political deal, according to the council's spokesperson, Pelumi Olajengbesi.

Olajengbesi made this clarification via a post on his X handle on Sunday, responding to a comment made by the Minister of Aviation and Aerospace Development, Festus Keyamo. Keyamo congratulated Adeleke on his re-election and highlighted the governor's "public and unequivocal endorsement" of Tinubu for the 2027 presidential election.

He tweeted, "Agreement is agreement." The statement has sparked various interpretations online, with some seeing it as proof of a private pact between the governor and the President.
