Basiru, who cast his ballot in Ward 7, Unit 3 of Osogbo Local Government Area, lauded the punctual arrival of election materials and personnel at polling stations throughout the state.

He also expressed admiration for the voters who arrived ahead of schedule, acknowledging their turnout as a testament to their dedication to the democratic process. "I commend INEC for the timely deployment of election materials and personnel to polling centres across the state," Basiru stated. "I also commend voters for turning out in large numbers to participate in the electoral process. The turnout is an indication of the people's commitment to democracy."
