Odegaard says Arsenal ‘want to win everything’ after Community Shield success

The Norwegian midfielder scored Arsenal's final goal, finishing the team's dominant display of football. Arsenal captain Odegaard noted that his team's rivals understand they want to "win everything" after their impressive start to the season.

In the match, Riccardo Calafiori opened the scoring for Arsenal just 24 seconds into the game, followed by Kai Havertz's goal before halftime. Odegaard and City's new manager, Enzo Maresca, both praised the team's performance, with Maresca stating that Arsenal showed their level and are ready to do it again. Odegaard emphasized that once they experience the joy of winning, they want to relive that success.

Both teams will begin their Premier League campaigns in August, with City facing Bournemouth on August 24. Maresca acknowledged that City has much to improve before the season gets underway, as they have only won two of their nine matches against Arsenal so far.
