Miles, Collier power the WNBA-leading Lynx to a 92-87 win over the Aces

Olivia Miles scored 23 points and provided eight assists, while Napheesa Collier contributed 19 points for the WNBA-leading Minnesota Lynx. The team secured a 92-87 victory over the Las Vegas Aces on Saturday night.

Natasha Howard added 13 points and 11 rebounds for Minnesota, who had a solid performance throughout the game. The Lynx maintained a lead of at least five points until Jewell Loyd’s 3-pointer reduced the score to 86-82 with less than three minutes remaining in the fourth quarter.

Collier’s deep three-pointer provided the Lynx with a seven-point lead with roughly seven minutes left in the fourth quarter. Minnesota led by at least five points until Loyd’s three-pointer cut the gap to four points with under three minutes left.

The Aces managed to pull within four points once more after A’ja Wilson sank two free throws with 1:09 remaining in the game. Williams and Collier each made two free throws in the final minute to seal the Lynx’s franchise-best 15th road win of the season.

WNBA MVP candidate Wilson led the scoring for the Aces with 32 points, making 11 of 12 free throws and grabbing seven rebounds. NaLyssa Smith contributed 17 points and 12 rebounds, while Chelsea Gray added 12 points and nine assists for the Aces.
