History for Hunt and Asher-Smith as GB win relay gold

Amy Hunt and Dina Asher-Smith achieved a historic feat as Great Britain claimed victory in the mixed 4x100m relay at the European Championships. The quartet's triumph propelled Britain towards topping the final medal table. Sprint sensation Hunt signaled her exhilaration and triumph by raising four fingers to the camera following her performance on the home straight.

Her feat marked her fourth gold of the week, with Germany putting up a valiant challenge. Hunt, a world silver medallist, completed the quartet's victory in a European record time of 39.97 seconds.
