Gooseworks (YC W23) Is Hiring a Founding Builder / Engineer

Gooseworks, a Y Combinator-backed startup based in San Francisco, is seeking a Founding Builder/Engineer to join their small team. The role involves combining engineering excellence with strong product thinking and taste.

The company is pioneering self-improving AI agents that run growth for consumer brands, including ads, user-generated content, and organic marketing. Gooseworks' end-to-end approach includes ads, UGC, and more. The team is small, having previously built Athina AI, an LLM observability & evaluation platform.

The ideal candidate will be a core part of the founding team, owning product and engineering decisions, shipping new products and features, and interacting with users. They should be comfortable trying lots of things with uncertain outcomes, failing fast, and being comfortable with the evolving market. Candidates with TypeScript/Next.js fluency, motion or video skills, and prior startup experience are preferred. Exceptional candidates may also be considered for founding-level scope and equity.

Gooseworks' flagship product is an AI creative engine that turns a brand's existing materials into a continuous stream of on-brand video ads. The engine learns from ad performance, competitors, trends, and human feedback, improving the creative every month.
