Female content creator gunned down, teenage sister injured in Taxila

In Taxila, a female TikToker was fatally shot while her teenage sister suffered critical injuries when a gunman opened fire at close range on GT Road near the Taxila bypass, according to police sources on Saturday. The victim was traveling in her car when a motorcyclist in his thirties intercepted her near the bypass and began firing.

The car subsequently lost control and collided with a dumper truck. The content creator succumbed to her wounds on the spot, while her sister is in critical condition. The deceased was originally from Haripur and resided in a private housing area. Her brother submitted two individuals' names in the FIR, alleging that the alleged targeted killing stemmed from a financial dispute between the victim and the accused. Police have filed a case against the nominated accused and are continuing their investigation.

In another incident, two brothers were targeted in a separate attack in Malho village, near Rango Police Station in Hazro town, Attock. Police registered a target-killing case following their deaths.

Additionally, a 13-year-old boy drowned in a village pond in Chappri area, within Jand Police Station limits, on Saturday. The boy had gone swimming with his friends when he ventured into deep water and drowned. Rescue 1122 team recovered his body and transferred it to the Tehsil Headquarters Hospital. Police have registered a case and initiated an investigation.
