Fadhlina tells PKR members not to wait for Parliament dissolution to prepare for polls

Parti Keadilan Rakyat (PKR) Wanita chief Fadhlina Sidek has encouraged party members to maintain election-readiness at all times and not postpone preparations until Parliament is dissolved. She emphasized the dynamic nature of Malaysia's political environment, recognizing that changes can occur unexpectedly, even if the current ruling party is willing to engage in negotiations.

As Education Minister, Fadhlina stressed that PKR members should be proactive in their readiness, ready to take action without waiting for specific events or announcements. During her closing remarks at the PKR National Congress 2026, she highlighted that the party must support and empower its members, whether they remain or leave, and emphasized the importance of women's leadership within the organization.

Fadhlina urged PKR to extend leadership opportunities to women beyond merely involving them as campaign workers, encouraging them to participate in decision-making processes. She stressed the significance of open criticism of the party's actions, as long as the objective was to improve and serve the public, rather than merely seeking popularity or taking the easy route.
