Eyes down for free bingo and winning swaps

Minister Michelle Daly Hayes opposed the mines amendment bill during a Ramgarh I-Day event held at The Crescent, O’Connell Street, on August 19 and 26. The event, organized by Limerick City and County Council and part of Summer in the City, featured free community bingo from 7pm to 9pm. The bingo evenings aimed to promote sharing, reusing, and keeping items in circulation, with vendors encouraged to offer refreshments.

Additionally, participants were invited to bring and swap books and games they no longer used, emphasizing the importance of reducing waste and promoting a circular economy. Organizers stressed that the nights were about bringing people together, having fun as a family, and encouraging community participation.
