‘Every partner feels that way’: Yash on wife Radhika’s reaction to intimate scenes in Toxic

Actor Yash has spoken out about the controversial intimate scenes in his upcoming film Toxic: A Fairy Tale for Grown-Ups, explaining that he stepped out of his comfort zone because the story demanded it and his wife Radhika Pandit, also an actress, understands the distinction between her husband and the character he plays. In a recent interview on Aap ki Adalat, Yash said that every partner would feel uncomfortable about such scenes, but he emphasized the importance of understanding that it's a craft and an art.

He added that they aimed to create something meaningful that future generations would learn from. Yash acknowledged that the process was challenging for him personally, but the story's significance warranted it. Regarding Radhika's reaction, he noted that she wouldn't be happy, but she trusts him and recognizes it's a job for her as an actor.

Yash framed Toxic as a film for Gen Z, addressing their conversations and concerns about senior citizens. The film, directed by Geetu Mohandas, stars Yash and Kiara Advani, and is set to release on August 26 in multiple languages.
