Dynamo’s Bond rides Santos’ PK goal to 1-0 victory over Galaxy for fourth straight shutout

The decisive goal came in the first half when Guilherme Santos converted a penalty kick awarded after Galaxy defender John Nelson's foul on Lawrence Ennali. Jonathan Bond, the Dynamo's goalkeeper, notably maintained his unblemished streak by not requiring a single save, running his dry spell to 372 minutes.

This marked Bond's seventh shutout of the season, tying his annual total from the previous year, his first season with the Dynamo. Santos notched his 12th goal of the season in the 21st minute, securing Houston's lead. The Galaxy, who have faced a recent dip in form, dropped to 0-3-2 in their last five matches. Houston's Ibrahim Aliyu picked up two yellow cards in stoppage time, resulting in a red-card dismissal.
