Dos muertos en un ataque ruso contra una planta de ArcelorMittal en Ucrania

At least two people were killed and 13 others were injured in a Russian attack on an ArcelorMittal plant in Krivi Rig, Ukraine, on Sunday, according to the company itself. ArcelorMittal Krivi Rig announced on Facebook that it was targeted by Russian missiles. As a result of the attack, 13 employees and subcontractors sustained injuries. Initially, only one death was reported, but later the body of another deceased person was discovered.

The company stated that the main energy production and blast furnace facilities were damaged, and the plant's production processes were partially halted while specialists assessed the extent of the damage and potential recovery timelines. In 2022, ArcelorMittal experienced a missile attack that destroyed its long product rolling mill and killed one employee.

This is not the only incident in the Dnipropetrovsk region, as Nikopol's district center and the communities of Marganets, Mirove, Pokrovske, and Chervonohrihorivka were also targeted. Those attacks resulted in damage to infrastructure, a company, a multi-story residential building, and a private residence.
