Colts work out handful of players, including three veteran wideouts

On July 24, 2025, the Indianapolis Colts conducted workout sessions for several veteran players, including quarterback Mark Gronowski, cornerback Jaylon Guilbeau, wide receivers Josh Reynolds, Tre'Quan Smith, and Equanimeous St. Brown. Gronowski, a 2x FCS National Champion and 2x FCS Championship Game MVP during his time at South Dakota St., signed as an undrafted rookie free agent with the Miami Dolphins but was waived in early August.

He recently played as a backup for the Iowa Hawkeyes, completing 63.4% of his pass attempts and throwing for 1,741 yards with 10 touchdowns and 7 interceptions in 13 starts. Jaylon Guilbeau, a 5'11", 190 pound cornerback, was signed by the Carolina Panthers as an undrafted rookie free agent but was later waived. During his senior season at Texas, he registered 40 tackles, including 22 solo, a sack, an interception, and 3 passes defended in 12 starts.

Josh Reynolds, a 6'3", 192 pound wide receiver, was selected in the 4th round by the Los Angeles Rams in 2017, but has also played for the Tennessee Titans, Detroit Lions, Denver Broncos, Jacksonville Jaguars, and New York Jets. He has amassed 244 receptions for 3,228 receiving yards (13.2 yards per reception average) and 20 touchdowns in 121 career games (58 starts).

Tre'Quan Smith, a 6'2", 210 pound wideout, was a 3rd round pick by the New Orleans Saints in 2018, joining the Denver Broncos and Detroit Lions organizations. He has recorded 131 receptions for 1,764 receiving yards (13.5 yards per reception average) and 18 touchdowns in 67 games (35 starts). Lastly, Equanimeous St. Brown, a 6'5", 214 pound wide receiver, was a 6th round pick by the Green Bay Packers in 2018, joining the Chicago Bears, New Orleans Saints, and San Francisco 49ers.

St. Brown has accumulated 63 receptions for 928 receiving yards (14.7 yards per reception average) and 2 touchdowns in 62 games (28 starts) throughout his career.
