Civil Defense announces all-clear in Jazan after earlier warning

On Sunday, the General Directorate of Civil Defense declared an all-clear in Jazan Region after initially issuing a warning through the National Early Warning Platform. The Civil Defense urged citizens and residents to adhere to official instructions and safety guidelines, while refraining from gatherings and filming at incident sites.

In case of an emergency, the public was advised to call 998 for assistance. Earlier, the Civil Defense had sent out an alert via the National Early Warning Platform, warning residents of a potential danger. Those who received an emergency warning through the platform were instructed to follow official guidance, move to the nearest safe location, and remain there until an all-clear was given.

During emergencies, residents were asked to stay indoors, avoid open areas, rooftops, and windows. They were also discouraged from gathering or filming in potentially hazardous locations. Motorists who received an alert while driving were told to pull over in a safe area away from bridges and high-rise buildings, and to continue following instructions issued via official channels.
