Bring KCR to September Assembly session: Revanth

Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy announced that the upcoming Assembly session will take place in September and urged BRS leaders to bring former Chief Minister K. Chandrashekhar Rao to the House. Reddy stated that he is prepared to discuss development and welfare programs implemented during both the BRS and his government. At a public meeting in Parkal town, Reddy acknowledged that BRS leaders K.T.

Rama Rao and T. Harish Rao had been demanding the convening of the Assembly. He emphasized that the state required Rao's experience as a former Chief Minister and Union Minister. The Chief Minister also criticized the BRS leadership for engaging in family-centric politics and appointing relatives to key positions, despite appointing women MLAs Konda Surekha and Seethakka as Ministers in the current government.

Reddy promised to fill all vacant posts in phases and vowed to address the recruitment concerns of unemployed youth. He highlighted the government's efforts to support farmers, including the purchase of paddy and payment of ₹90,000 crore to farmers over the past 32 months, as well as an expenditure of about ₹1 lakh crore on farmers in two-and-a-half years.

Reddy laid the foundation stones for several development works and inaugurated completed projects in Parkal, with an estimated cost of ₹484 crore.
