B-Red, the son of Osun State Governor Ademola Adeleke, has expressed confidence in his father's prospects in the upcoming state governorship election on Saturday. In a post on social media platform X, B-Red noted his father's visible happiness as the election results started coming in. "Sitting with my dad and I can see the joy and happiness on his face," he wrote, referencing the mathematical equation 4 + 4 = 8.

Currently serving as a singer and businessman, Adeleke is contesting the election on the Accord Party platform, after previously representing the People's Democratic Party. Facing significant rivals such as Bola Oyebamiji of the All Progressives Congress and Najeem Salaam of the African Democratic Congress, the election will be held across all 30 Local Government Areas and 3,763 polling units in the state.

While voting has largely been peaceful, there have been isolated reports of BVAS accreditation issues, alleged voter inducement, and disruptions at some locations. Ademola Adeleke had previously urged security forces to safeguard voters, election officials, and collation centers, urging residents to maintain peace and allow the electoral process to proceed without interference.

As the governor and his supporters eagerly await the election results, B-Red's hopeful message highlights the family's strong connection to the political landscape in Osun State.
