Bombay HC Recruitment Exam Chaos In Kalyan As 500+ Candidates Protest Technical Failures

Kalyan witnessed unrest at the Bombay High Court recruitment exam venue on Sunday as hundreds of candidates alleged significant technical malfunctions during the clerk typing skill test, leading to a prolonged and intense protest. The students accused authorities of poor management, demanding swift action to preserve the fairness of the recruitment process.

Reports suggested that the examination held at Kalyan APMC Market faced numerous technical hiccups, including server crashes, broken computers, faulty keyboards, and interruptions in the online exam system. Over 500 candidates congregated outside the center, launching a sit-in protest, demanding that the exam be repeated.

The demonstrators reportedly obstructed a judge's vehicle, sitting in front of it. Meanwhile, in Bhiwandi, on the Mumbai-Nashik highway, a trailer driver was murdered, prompting an investigation into the circumstances surrounding the incident. Abhijit Deepke, founder of the Kalyan Bazarpeth police station, engaged with the protesting students via video call and expressed his backing for their cause. He implored the students not to give up until the issue was resolved.

Although authorities involved in the recruitment process issued no formal statement at the time of publication, they continued to grapple with the controversy. The protesting students, however, remained steadfast, refusing to back down even as the situation escalated.
