AI도 작성 거부한 ‘이진숙 5·18 포럼’…“호남에 이렇게 부정적” 이유

The '5·18 Reexamination Forum' organized by Representative Jin Suk, a member of the National Power Movement, faced rejection when he attempted to use artificial intelligence (AI) to summarize the forum's discussion. On the 16th, the video of the forum went viral on Representative Jin Suk's YouTube channel. The main speaker, after concluding the briefing, stated, "I will say just one more thing."

He then explained that he had requested Google's AI, 'Claude,' to create a PowerPoint summarizing the briefing, but was denied because 'such things cannot be created.' The speaker revealed that he had personally created the PowerPoint himself due to his age. The speaker expressed surprise that older generations could be embarrassed by AI's responses.

He emphasized that he had heard various opinions during his discussions on the 5·18 democratic movement, but never imagined AI would feel such pity. As a member of the conservative-aligned civic group 'Hoseong Alternative Forum' and a joint representative of the 'Hoseong Agenda Forum,' he criticized the state's position on the 5·18 movement, including comparisons to "leftist scions" and "rightists who must abandon their bowing posture and review the meaning of 5·18."

The speaker also mentioned the controversial marketing of Starbucks' '5·18 Tank Day' and the Seoul Baseball Academy's '5·18 Joking Support' and rapper 'Nun' Lee's 'Weirdo' slur as examples of 'leftist expression' that failed in their intentions, as they were unrelated to the direct issues of the 5·18 democratic movement.
