Ackermann: Grobbelaar and Louw ready for Springboks return after All Blacks battle

Bulls coach Johan Ackermann is confident that Johan Grobbelaar and Elrigh Louw will bring valuable insights when they rejoin the Springbok squad this week. The South African rugby players only joined the Bulls recently after their match against Argentina in Buenos Aires and were granted extra playing time by Springbok coach Rassie Erasmus.

Ackermann feels that the duo is now primed to return to the Boks team, having played a role in the second half of their recent game against the All Blacks. Grobbelaar particularly made an impact with his high work rate and extensive movement on the field. Despite limited training time, both players made an effort to quickly adapt and learn from the experience.

Ackermann praised the team's performance, noting that they were stronger in the second half than they were in the first. The former Bok second-rower is also confident that the Springboks can reverse the result, given their experience, cohesion, and skill level. Ackermann believes that the All Blacks may have had an easier time trying to execute complex strategies in the first match, but the Springboks will be better prepared to handle any challenges in the upcoming Test.
