Yash says ‘vulgarity is wrong’ after controversial Toxic promos: ‘This is for Gen Z audience’

Actor Yash has expressed his disapproval of vulgarity following controversy surrounding the promotional material for his upcoming film, Toxic: A Fairytale for Grown-Ups. The movie, set to release on August 26, has drawn criticism over its depiction of women, sexual imagery, and themes of toxic masculinity and misogyny. Yash made these comments during an appearance on India TV's Aap Ki Adalat, where he discussed the film's target audience and the criticism it has faced.

Addressing the issue of vulgarity, Yash stated, "Vulgarity is wrong. I haven't even kissed, if you have watched." He also emphasized that the film is specifically aimed at the Gen Z audience, explaining, "This film is done with an intent where those emotions are very important. When you watch the film, you will understand that this is for the Gen Z audience. It is for the conversation what you guys are having. What problems do you have with the seniors? Why are there such fixed rules?"
