Professor Nam Yun-geun from Seoul University, who taught feminism as a scholarly discipline, will be retiring at the end of this month after 24 years of teaching. She gained significant attention with her book "공정 감각" (2023), which questioned why "fairness" privileges the weak. A professor in the Culture-Humanities Cooperative Education Program since 2002, her research focused on student sexual violence, maternal responsibility, neoliberal self-awareness, and the marketization of education.

She authored the popular book "여자의 탄생" (2005) in the early 2000s. In her farewell speech, Nam expressed her desire for students to grow up better and emphasized the importance of sharing personal experiences. She also highlighted the shift from a gender-focused approach to a more inclusive, intersectional understanding of feminism.
